Here is the picture of Saigon by night where I was born and grew up. I can say that I left my heart in Saigon... 8-(

Saint Marie Cathedral in Saigon.jpg

and here is Saint Marie Cathedral at the center of Saigon (in front of the old presidential palace of the South) where our family used to go every Sunday until 1975... 8-(
This one was built for about 200 years

Here is a beautiful lake named Xuan Huong, Dalat. The best tourist place in Vietnam where we used to have a summer vacation house on the other side of the lake (which looks like the one on the right side of the picture, but I'm not sure because I'm away from mine for so long...), not too far from a private girl highschool caused my heart sank sometimes during the summer...!!! ;-)
But they're all gone..... 8-(

Spring on Hanoi.jpg

This is Hanoi, where my dad grew up during his youth before he had to migrate to Saigon in 1954. I guess he must let his heart sank there several times during his youth. too... ;-)

main gate of imperial palace in Hue

The main gate of Vietamese imperial palace in Hue, where my beloved mom grew up. Of course, my mom didn't live in that palace or I must be a prince, right??? ;-)
She lived there until a young man took her heart and brought her into Saigon. That lucky man is my dad... the first Vietnamese civil engineer was trained and graduated in Ohio State University (straight 4.0 student).

Another picture of my real "hometown": downtown Saigon
